Martini Wednesday

Soosie enjoyed this cranberry-pineapple martini prior to seeing Casablanca on the big screen for its 70th anniversary!  The martini was pretty to look at, but really it was just a bay breeze in a martini glass with some lime juice.  The movie, however, was even better onscreen that Soosie imagined it could be!  It's one of her favorites!

Sangria

After a lo-o-ong day of training, Sherry kicked back with some Spanish food and a nice, cold Sangria.  Salud!

Corned beef and cabbage for Sherry today, too.  And a Guinness!  She is pretty sure that in a previous life, she was a Gaelic Lass roaming the coastline of the Emerald Isle!  Begosh and begorrah!

Soosie had a traditional dinner - corned beef, cabbage, potatoes & carrots, soda bread.  And some Murphy's Irish Stout.

Malibu & Coke

 

Soosie watched the sunset, ate some seafood, enjoyed some acoustic James Taylor covers and drank her old stand-by - Malibu & Coke.  This was the first of many.  Love the candle behind it making it glow...
